OKOBOJIâ âOvercomer of Okobojiâ will return for its seventh year on a virtual platform with its brand new mini-conference titled âHope in Christ: Coffee and Conversationâ, an inspiring and inspiring non-denominational Christian feminine event for women of all ages and all faiths.
The event – which will be virtual for the first time since the ministry began in 2015 – will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 27.
The theme is based on Psalm 23: 5: âMy cup is overflowing with your blessingsâ.
The two-hour format will accommodate busy schedules, giving women a heavy dose of reality-based spirituality and inspiration in a short time, from the comfort of their own homes.
The keynote speaker will be Midwestern favorite Pat McGill, founder and president of McGill Speaking and Training Resources in Beresford, SD. She will bring her unique brand of humor and spirituality with her presentation titled âThoughts From Pat. . . About God, a carrot, an egg and a coffee bean.
Julie Clark Lingen, award-winning speaker, life coach and author from Sioux Falls, SD, will entertain and uplift women with her keynote presentation titled âFill Your Cup: Pour Your Heart Into Life and Live Without Regretsâ. She helps women strive to be more positive and consciously make every day a good day through choices and attitudes that inspire us to live the rest of our lives without regrets.
The keynote speaker will be Karen Schwaller, owner of Schwaller Agri-Stories of Milford. She is the author of three books and is an agricultural, spiritual and feminine speaker who shares stories of humor and femininity, motherhood, tragedy and triumph.
