Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan visited Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT Indore on Thursday. Mohan Yadav, MP Minister for Higher Education, Sanjay K Murthy, Union Secretary for Higher Education, Professor Suhas S Joshi, Director IIT Indore, Registrar SP Hota and Principal Manoj Kumar Sadarani along with other administrative officers of the ‘IIT were also present during his visit.
All teachers and employees of KV IIT Indore were also present. First, the Minister of Education was warmly welcomed by Director Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT. This was done by the students of KV IIT Indore by applying tilak and chanting mantras. In the welcome sequence, the minister and all visitors were welcomed by the director and the children of Kendriya Vidyalaya by offering a bouquet and flowers. The students of the school welcomed all the guests by presenting different cultural activities like song, dance and a yoga program emphasizing the importance of yoga.
Principal Manoj Kumar Sadrani warmly welcomed and greeted the minister and all visitors on behalf of the school.
The Principal shared the achievements and progress of the school since its inception.
In his address, the Minister of Education, while wishing Akshaya Tritiya, praised the program of Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT Indore and described the school as a laboratory for education in the future.
The minister recommended starting a new four-year teacher training program at IIT Indore so that pedagogical engineers can be prepared.
The minister also accepted greetings from toddlers and Bal Vatika teachers operated at the premises of KV IIT Indore. He interacted with the children and sent his best wishes to all the students. He was overwhelmed and mesmerized by the performance of the students.
