Raleigh County Schools Virtual Program Registration Now Open

RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — Raleigh County Schools has announced the opening of enrollment for their virtual program for the 2022-2023 school year.

The program, a personalized online learning experience, provides live instruction to students in grades 6-12. The standards-based curriculum provides students with a personalized learning option.

Some of the program features include live instruction in core subjects such as math, ELA, science and history, clubs, extracurricular activities and student organizations, a Chromebook issued by the county of Raleigh to use for the duration of the program, and the flexibility to access classes around the clock to accommodate different scheduling needs.

Raleigh County Schools also announced a learning opportunity for current 5th graders in the form of the STEAM Summer Camp program.

The camp will take place at Beckley Stratton Middle School from June 21 to July 1, with a return from 7:45 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and a pick-up at 1:00 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be offered to those present.

The theme of the camp is “Engineering is Everywhere”, and those interested in registering can do so here. The registration deadline is June 8.
