The 2021 cohort marks the first time that the ICCS has been offered outside of the United States. This is also the first cohort to be presented in both English and French Canadian. Since 2005, the ICCC has supported 3,836 US-based companies that have raised US $ 2.3 billion in capital, achieved 126% revenue growth and created 22,707 local jobs since participating in the program. In 2020, 17 ICCC cohorts were proposed in the United States, of which 74% of companies owned by BIPOC and 61% owned by women.
