Kuwait Finance House KSCP: KFH welcomes people with disabilities in a training program


The Kuwait Finance House (KFH) honored the first group of students with special needs from the Kuwait Society for the Handicapped (KSH). The students participated in a training program under a partnership agreement, which is the first of its kind in the banking sector to be signed between the bank and the company.

The agreement includes several training initiatives and programs allocated to students with special needs, including field trips to KFH branches and departments.

KFH Group Acting General Manager AbdulWahab Al-Rushood told the honor ceremony that KFH is always keen to encourage, support and qualify various categories of society, including students with special needs.

He stressed that KFH always strives to strengthen its social role in a comprehensive and integrated way to cover all categories of society and provide the most interesting activities and services to children with special needs.

Al-Rushood added that the social contributions of KFH are among the main factors to improve the development process, improve the capacities of Kuwaiti society, solve the main problems and strengthen the efforts of the society to build a better future for all. .

He added that these social initiatives reflect the positive attitude towards the importance of strengthening the role of human capacities to contribute to development efforts and help the state to achieve progress in various fields.

Al-Rushood expressed his joy to participate in honoring the first batch of interns with disabilities in collaboration with KSH, especially as the ceremony coincides with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3 each year. The honor ceremony concludes a training program organized by KFH to enhance the abilities of the participants, stimulate their creativity and innovation, overcome any difficulties and achieve their goals with the best possible means.

He added, “We started our partnership with KSH last September to train and qualify this distinguished group of students with disabilities. We were very impressed with their enthusiasm and dedication to develop and deal with the practical and theoretical aspects of the training program. We are looking for a very distinguished and ambitious group that is able to serve his country and himself and contribute to the realization of Kuwait’s ambitions and aspirations. ”

Al-Rushood said the KFH initiative to train and qualify people with disabilities was a successful step to merge them into society and practical life and help them build a better future for themselves and their families.

He reiterated the permanent availability of the KFH to participate and cooperate in all programs and activities serving the interests of people with disabilities. Al-Rushood expressed his pride to announce that the human resources sector of KFH includes a group of ambitious people with disabilities in various fields. He expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all who participated in the organization of the Disability Training Program and its success. The program covered various departments of KFH including bank branches, human resources, bank cards and others.

The Managing Director of the Kuwaiti Society for People with Disabilities (KSH), Dr Elham Al-Hamdan said: “With the support, improvement, commitment and dedication of the employees of KFH and the Kuwaiti Society for disabled people, our students were able to complete around 100 hours of vocational training alongside other non-disabled colleagues. Today we celebrate the great collective efforts of all those who have participated in helping people with disabilities to integrate into society “.

She added: “We are very proud to cooperate with KFH. Our sincere thanks, appreciation and gratitude go to them for forming a group of our exceptional students, thus aiming to achieve the Company’s goals of providing innovative care, education and support to the people we serve. . It is also one of the essential factors for achieving the 2030 sustainable development plan ”.

KFH is always keen to organize special courses for its employees in order to acquire certain skills to cope with the ambitions of people with disabilities, for example sign language to treat people with hearing impairments. They are also trained in the rules and regulations to support people with disabilities in agencies and outlets, prioritize them with older people, understand their needs, help them and provide them with all automated equipment, e-channels and Technical Support.

KFH has facilitated all banking services and products for people with disabilities without incurring any additional fees or costs. KFH provided a special branch in each governorate for people with disabilities, including proper parking, wheelchairs and other necessary aids.
