Shri Arlekar said that drug addiction is a very sensitive issue and it should also be addressed emotionally besides implementing the law and policies developed by the government in this direction. He said that each individual has the responsibility to take the initiative from their very home. Inculcate the habit of reading in their children and it is the duty of their parents to choose good books, he advised.

He said we should spend time with the wards and try to connect them with the family. Moral values ​​should be instilled in children by parents, which would provide a permanent solution to this problem, he added. .
